The first instance court sentenced the head of Republic party's Talin office
Jora Sapeyan to a two-month imprisonment for insulting the authorities and
the president.
Khachik Simonyan, who was captured in the party office Monday night, was
sentenced to five days in jail.
The court held its session behind closed doors.
