NEGATIVE BALANCE OF RA FOREIGN COMMODITY CIRCULATION MAKES 285.1 MLN DOLLARS
IN JANUARY-JUNE
YEREVAN, August 3 (Noyan Tapan). The volume of the RA foreign
commodity circulation made 965 mln dollars in January-June 2004, which
is more by 4.9% in comparison with the same period of last year. The
indicated index increased by 180 mln dollars (about 327,000 dollars)
in comparison with May. According to the RA National Statistical
Service, the import made 340 mln dollars (a 7.2% growth as against
last year), and the export made 625.1 mln dollars (a 3.8% growth). The
trade negative balance made 285.1 mln dollars during the indicated
period.
