RECONSTRUCTED BUILDING OF COURT OF FIRST INSTANCE OF LORI MARZ PUT INTO EXPLOITATION
VANADZOR, December 20 (Noyan Tapan). On December 17, the ceremony
of opening of the building of Vanadzor court of first instance
took place. The building built in the second half of 1960-s was
seriously damaged after the 1988 earthquake, as result of which it
was impossible to exploit it. That's why the court had functioned in
temporary vagon-houses for about 16 years. Ara Saghatelian, Spokesman
of RA Minister of Jusitice, informed Noyan Tapan that at present the
reconstructed building is envisaged for 7 judges of court of first
instance of Lori marz and 1 judge of Lori residence of RA Economic
Court. The building has 4 furnished court halls. The projecting
work of reconstruction of the building was carried out within
the framework of the credit program of court and legal reforms,
proceeding from the functional and security demands put forward
to court buildings. In particular, the supporting constructions
of the building were physically reinforced and reached at least 9
points of seismic resistability. Installation and exploitation of all
communications of the building was also carried out. The building was
also provided with an autonomous local heating system, a bolier-house
was built and a gas bolier was installed.
