AKHALKALAKI, JUNE 1, ARMENPRESS: A-Info news agency operating
in Armenian-populated region of Javakhk in Georgia, said the
president of the Union of Russian Armenians, who is o the president
of World Armenian Organization was among 5 influential businessmen
who conferred with Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili during a
recent Georgian-Russian business forum held in Moscow.
The agency quoted an Armenian member of the Georgian parliament, Van
Bayburdyan, as saying that Ara Abrahamian expressed willingness to make
solid investments in restoration of a railway running through Abkhazia.
