TURKISH OFFICIAL HOPES FOR IMPROVED RELATIONS WITH ARMENIA
YEREVAN, MARCH 24, ARMENPRESS: Salik Kapusoz from Turkish ruling
Justice and Development party, said he believes that Armenian-Turkish
borders may open soon to become a strong incentive for improvement of
relations between the two nations.
Kapusoz has arrived in Yerevan to attend a session of the Black
Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Parliamentary Assembly commission on
culture, education and social issues. Speaking to Armenian reporters,
he argued that both nations should not cling to the past and look
instead forward. "The Justice and Development party has set its task
to develop relations with all neighbors of Turkey and I hope that
soon we shall see better times," he said.
