FAR PLEDGES TO CARRY OUT NEW PROJECTS IN KARABAGH
STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS: Nagorno Karabagh prime
minister Anushavan Danielian received today Garnik Nanagulian, the
executive director of the Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) and FAR
coordinator in Nagorno Karabagh Yeznik Balian to discuss further
plans of the organization to help Karabagh build new and restore old
water pipe-lines.
Danielian suggested that the focus of FAR charity programs be on
frontier rural settlements that damaged most from the military
actions in early 90-s. Nanagulian, who served as Armenia's ambassador
to Canada and then as trade minister, said FAR plans to carry out
extensive rehabilitation projects in Karabagh. He said some $3
million worth projects are set to be carried out in the next two
years.
