President of Armenian Culture Fund Arevshat Avagyan staged Thursday
an unusual action. A group of artists toured Yerevan's Dalma Gardens
with their easels to depict the gardens on their canvases.
The landscapes will be exhibited later. The artists say they did that
to give people a chance to see the gardens at least on their pictures.
The thing is that the gardens are now under threat of being cut for
building constructions in these areas.
A march to Yerevan City Hall, Justice Ministry and the government
buildings as well as presidential residence will be staged on next
week's Wednesday as part of a series actions designed by the Fund.
