STATE APPROACH TO THE OCTOBER 27 TERRORIST ACT

National Unity member Koryun Arakelyan said Thursday the party is
opposed to the idea of marking the fifth anniversary of October 27
terrorist attack on National Assembly by a rally.
The anniversary should be marked in a hall, not in the street, he
said. In his opinion, the event should be staged by the authorities
in a decent way a as a somber memorial for those killed in the attack.
That's why Unity won't participate in the rally Artarutyun opposition
bloc scheduled for October 26, though sign a joint statement,
Arakelyan said.
