INTERNATIONAL EXPERTS TO ARRIVE IN ARMENIA TO DEVELOP LONG-TERM
GOVERNMENTAL YOUTH POLICY NOV 1
YEREVAN, OCTOBER 10. ARMINFO. International experts will arrive in
Yerevan, November 1 to develop long-term Governmental Youth Policy,
Lilit Asatryan, Deputy Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs said
during the press-conference, Friday.
As to Asatryan, the experts will take part in a discussion of the
draft of the long-term Governmental Youth Policy and Strategy for
2005-2007 and will share their experience in the sphere. Mentioning
the activization of international cooperation L. Asatryan said that a
regular meeting between the Council of Heads of Youth Policy Agencies
of CIS countries will take place November 3-5 in Armenia. This will
allow to strengthen cooperation with the correspondent agencies of
Commonwealth countries.
Besides, L. Asatryan reminded that a meeting of the Council of Europe
Committee of Leaders of Youth Policy took place in Budapest, October
11-13. During the meeting programmes to be realized in Armenia were
presented. Asatryan also noted that <Summer school> will be organized
in Armenia, in summer 2005. During the work of the school, Heads of
Youth Policy State Structures of CE countries will visit
Armenia. According to her, decision was taken that CE will help to
make a report on Youth Policy in Armenia. -A-
