SEMINAR ON COOPERATION

The EC Direction on Youth and Sport and the RA Ministry of Culture and
Youth organized a seminar entitled `Caucasus in Europe' on
international cooperation and information network. The seminar was
held in Tsaghkadzor on September 8-13. In the seminar were involved
about 30 young people representing youth organizations from different
parts of Armenia, Nagorni Karabakh, Georgia, Sweden, Moldavia,
Ukraine, Russia and Azerbaijan. There were four participants from our
republic. The seminar passed in an informal atmosphere, through
logically connected games and exercises, interviews, debates, lectures
aimed at establishing cooperation between the young people arrived
from different countries. There were two participants from
Azerbaijan. During the first days there was some disagreement between
them and the Armenian participants in reference to the problem of
Nagorni Karabakh but at the end of the seminar they came to mutual
understanding supporting the peaceful regulation of the matter. On the
last day the participants of the seminar received certificates,
cooperative links were established between the young people of
different countries who believe that through effective and lasting
cooperation they can favour the peaceful settlement of the conflicts
in the Caucasus.
