HARVEST SEASON IN FULL SWING
YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS: Local canneries and wineries
said today they are prepared to purchase as much fruits, vegetables
and grapes as offered by farmers. Canneries pay 22-25 drams per one
kilo of tomatoes and 150 drams for one kilo of grapes.
According to the latest figures, agricultural products processing
companies have already procured 28,000 tons of vegetables, 1,300 tons
of fruits and 5,700 tons of grapes, 3,600 tons of which by the
French-owned Yerevan Brandy Company.
