Azerbaijan not invited to NATO event in Yerevan

A two-day meeting of the advisory group of the NATO Euro-Atlantic
Partnership Council started in Yerevan, Armenia on Thursday.
Sixty-five representatives from 38 NATO members and partner states are
attending the event, according to Armenian press reports. The security
in the Euro-Atlantic region will be discussed at the meeting chaired
by the NATO Assistant Secretary General on Political Affairs and
Security Policy Gunther Altenburg.
Asked whether Azerbaijan has been invited to the meeting, a spokesman
for the Ministry of Defense declined to comment on the issue, saying
that the Ministry has not received any information about the NATO
event.*
