/PanARMENIAN.Net/ As the Azeri party is still speaking out with
militaristic statements it is quite clear that the statement by
the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs was addressed to Azerbaijan, Press
Secretary of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA)Hamlet
Gasparian stated, RA MFA press service reports. "At the same time the
cautiousness of the Co-Chairs, who did not name the initiator of the
violations, will hardly contribute to the cease-fire preservation",
H. Gasparian noted. In his words, in a letter addressed to the FMs
of the Minsk Group and the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Armenia explains
that the main reasons for the cease-fire violations is Azerbaijan's
confidence in its impunity. "All know that Azeris violate the
cease-fire regime. Nevertheless no one condemns their actions, what
results in repeated violations", the MFA Press Secretary added. "If
earlier it was not always clear, who was the first open fire, today it
is obvious that the Azeri are trying to advance their positions and
change the status quo. Thus, we are convinced that a common call to
the preservation of the cease-fire regime will do no good. Moreover,
we hope that the Co-Chairs and those, who are interested in peace
and stability in the region, will resort to more definite steps",
H. Gasparian resumed.
