CHRISTIAN ARMENIA ATTRACTS TOURISTS, THINKS EXPERT IN TOURISM
YEREVAN, APRIL 29. ARMINFO. The 75th Congress Exhibition of the
American Society of Tourist Agents (ASTA) will take place in Montreal
Nov 6-11. Director of ASTA Office in Yerevan Yeghishe Tanashyan has
informed ARMINFO.
He says that Armenia will be represented at the exhibition by the
Armenian Agency for Tourism Development and ASTA Office in Yerevan. He
says that Christianity is a great privilege for Armenia from the point
of view of tourist attraction. Tanashyan forecasts that within the
coming 1-2 years a great flow of tourists interested in the Christian
religion is expected in Armenia.
Besides, Armenia will be represented at the exhibition-conference to
be held in Prague in 2006. At present, negotiations with Czech
airlines are held which ASTA Office in Yerevan intends to represent
Armenia with.
