PRESENTATION OF ASHOT SARGSIAN'S BROCHURES "IMMORTALITY" AND "THE
NATURAL HOVHANNES TUMANIAN" TAKES PlACE ON AUGUST 10
YEREVAN, AUGUST 10, NOYAN TAPAN. "The works of Ashot Sargsian are
highly analytical and show a unique approach to any problem of life."
This is how Grigor Janikian, a specialsit in literature, defined the
poet's works at the presentation of the brochures "Immortality" and
"The Natural Hovhannes Tumanian". The event was held at the Armenian
Association for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries on August
10. According to G. Janikian, today all writers try to write using the
same style, while each of them should create differently because
literature is interesting in its diversity. He pointed out the works
of A. Sargsian as an original manifestation of such diversity. "The
Natural Hovhannes Tumanian" contains an analysis of the poem "The
Reading of Cosmos". In G. Janikian's words, although many authors have
written about Tumanian, A. Sargsian managed to say something new about
the great poet. A film director by profession, A. Sargsian worked at
Hayfilm Studio for many years, being the assistant to the film
director Artavazd Peleshian in 1989-2001.
