FIRST VISIT OF ARMENIA'S SUPREME PATRIARCH TO JAVAKHK IN LAST 110 YEARS

Visit
On October 1, Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, will arrive
in Armenian-populated region of Javakhk, Georgia, A-Info agency of
Akhalkalak informs. The Supreme Patriarch of Armenia will take part in
the opening ceremony of representative office of Armenian Apostolic
Church in the region, in re-consecration of an Armenian church in
village of Aragvi and will meet the Armenian flock.
A-Info reminds that the last Armenian Catholicos to visit Javakhk
was Khrimean Hayrik in 1986.
