Baku, 26 August: The OSCE office in Baku is not in the position to
satisfy the request of the [Azerbaijani] Central Electoral Commission
[CEC] to provide assistance in making a list of voters of Armenian
origin living in Armenian-occupied Nagornyy Karabakh, the media policy
adviser of the OSCE office, Ulvi Axundlu, has said. The response has
already been sent to the CEC.
"The OSCE office does not have the mandate and authority to satisfy
the request. In this regard, we have recommended that the CEC apply to
the personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office [on the
Nagornyy Karabakh conflict], Andrzej Kasprzyk," Axundlu said.
