Armenian official praises Kazan talks with Azeri leader

The meeting between the armenian and Azerbaijani presidents, Robert
Kocharyan and Ilham Aliyev, has ended in Kazan. The meeting lasted for
about two hours. The presidents first had a tete-a-tete meeting and
then were joined by the co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Group and the
personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office [on the
Nagornyy Karabakh conflict], Andrzej Kasprzyk.
The Armenian side positively assesses the meeting in Kazan and
considers it to be a positive development in the negotiating process,
the press secretary of the Armenian president, Viktor Sogomonyan, told
Mediamax new agency.
He also said that the Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers will
continue their work on the basis of the agreements reached in Kazan.
