Russian force in Transcaucasia launches training session for commanders

Tbilisi, 7 February: A planned training session for commanding officers
started in the Russian military force in Transcaucasia on Monday [7 February].
"The training session of unit commanders and their deputies is hosted by the
102nd base of the Russian military force in Armenia's Gyumri. It will last
until Saturday," Col Vladimir Kuparadze, spokesman for the military force
headquarters, told Interfax-Military News Agency.
Participants in the current session will get comprehensive training in
tactics and take part in range practice, among other things, he said.
Lt-Gen Aleksandr Studenikin, commander of the Russian military force,
exercises general supervision over the training.
