Russia, Georgia speakers call for Caucasian Four further work

MOSCOW
Speaker of the Federation Council upper house of Russia's parliament
Sergei Mironov and Georgian parliament speaker Nino Burdzhanadze are
coming out in favour of continuing the work of the "Caucasian Four"
that also comprises the heads of the Azerbaijani and Armenian
parliaments, Mironov told reporters on Tuesday.
The FC speaker told Itar-Tass that during the Ukrainian president's
inauguration in Kiev they had a conversation with Georgia's
parliament speaker Nino Burdzhanadze.
Burdzhanadze invited the FC head in Tbilisi. "I'm waiting for an
official invitation now," Mironov said.
According to him, during the visit the sides will discuss the format
and date of the next meeting of the Caucasus and Russian
parliamentarians.
