REGULAR SESSION OF ARMENIAN SIDE OF ARMENIAN-GEORGIAN
INTERGOVERNMENTAL COMMISSION ON ECONOMIC COOPERATION TOOK PLACE
YEREVAN, January 21 (Noyan Tapan). The issues related to the
Armenian-Georgian border trade, motor ways repairs, creating favorable
conditions for broadcasting TV and radio programs in the two
countries, promoting tourism, exchange of information on the sanitary
epidemic situation between the sides and some other isues were
discussed at the January 21 session of the Armenian side of the
Armenian-Georgian intergovernmental commission on economic
cooperation. According to the RA government's Information and PR
Department, the Commission also addressed the issues of the
Armenian-Georgian cooperation in the spheres of science, education and
culture. In connection with organizing days of Armenian culture in
Georgia and Georgian culture in Armenia in 2005, the RA Prime Minister
Andranik Margarian gave an instruction to submit, within one month, a
full program of cultural vents together with persons responsible and
the schedule of implementation to the Commission. The Rrime Minister
also assigned all Ministries to present, within one week, a detailed
information on the work carried out in their spheres to the Commission
in order to inform the Georgian side about this.
