TURKEY HAS NEVER LEFT AZERBAIJAN ALONE AND WILL ALWAYS STAND FOR
AZERBAIJAN

Visiting Turkish Prime Minister Receb Tayyip Erdogan and President of
the Republic of Azerbaijan appeared before the media for signing
ceremony of documents between two countries. The Two had meeting
before the ceremony where wide range of issues discussed. Aliyev and
Erdogan also inked joint communiqué. The leaders of Azerbaijan and
Turkey said they discussed development of political and economic
ties, regional state and cooperation within the international
organizations.President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev
held one-on-one conversation with Prime Minister of the Turkish
Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Azerbaijan~Rs President has once again
warmly welcomed the Turkish Prime Minister Having highly estimated
Mr. Erdogan~Rs official visit to Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev
expressed confidence that the visit will be served as important
impulse for further development of the multi-facetted relationship -
political, economical, cultural cooperation between the two brotherly
and friendly countries. Head of the Azerbaijani State has thanked for
Turkey~Rs position and its support on the Armenia-Azerbaijan,
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has
expressed his satisfaction on the steadily developing multi-facetted
cooperation. Turkish Prime Minister has also especially noted the
cooperation between the countries will be continued within the
international organizations frame and Azerbaijan~Rs fair position
would have found its support henceforth. Ilham Aliyev and Recep
Tayyip Erdogan said positions of Azerbaijan and Turkey intersects in
all sectors including the settlement of Daqliq Qarabaq conflict.
Ilham Aliyev, president of Azerbaijan said there have been some
hopes. Otherwise there wouldn~Rt be a need to continue negotiations.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has adopted fair
resolution that will lead justice solution of the conflict. The
territorial integrity of Azerbaijan will be ensured. Armenians
positions rely on their dreams. Turkish Prime Minister said they
would continue support Azerbaijan till the end. We do stay in our
position regarding the settlement of Qarabaq conflict like we do
almost eight years. Ilham Aliyev promised official Baku~Rs support in
Northern Cyprus Turk Republic. He said that businessmen from
Azerbaijan would soon visit Northern Cyprus while airway would be
soon opened between Baku and Lefkosha. Ilham Aliyev said that
Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan main export pipeline would play very important
role in the regional stability.The recognition of the so-called
~SArmenian genocide~T and opening the borders with Armenia are not in
the Copenhagen principles defined by The European Union for Turkey.
Even if it is like that, Turkey is not in the intention of accepting
these conditions~T. Turkish Prime Minister Rajab Tayyib Erdoghan who
is on a visit to Baku told in the press conference for the
journalists. Erdoghan stated that, it is internal affair of Turkey
whether to recognize the so-called ~SArmenian genocide~T, as well as to
open the borders with Armenia:~T This decision is not made by the
European Union but by Turkey and Turkey know how to decide. We have
complied with all the commitments upon the European Union as well as
the conditions of the Copenhagen principles so far~T.
