U.S. Department of State Donates Equipment to Armenian Police
On July 1, 2005 the United States Department of State donated approximately
$20,000 of evidence collection equipment to the Police of the Republic of
Armenia. U.S. Ambassador John Evans opened the donation ceremony, which took
    place at Police Headquarters.
The evidence collection equipment, which had been funded by the Department
of State Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs
(INL), included digital cameras, biohazard protection kits, and fingerprint,
footprint, and tire track collection equipment. The Chief of Police accepted
the equipment for the Government of Armenia.
