RA NA SPEAKER RECEIVES PRIMATE OF EPISCOPAL CHURCH OF THE USA
YEREVAN, July 8. /ARKA/. RA NA Speaker Arthur Baghdasaryan received
primate of Episcopal Church of the USA Frank Griwald. According to RA
NA Public Relations Department, in the course of the meeting RA NA
Speaker noted that good relations are established between RA NA and
Armenian Apostolic Church, and the representative of the Church has
the chance to participate in the discussions of draft laws in
parliamentary commissions, offering his suggestions on issues
referring to the Church. Baghdasaryan added that jointly with the
Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin the Second he opened centers for
computer training free of charge in 30 settlements in Armenia.
In his turn Griswald emphasized that the relations between Episcopal
and Armenian Apostolic Churches in the USA ascend to the 19th
century, and his visit to Armenia gives a good chance to strengthen
