Armenian major opposition bloc unhappy with draft constitutional changes

YEREVAN
The opposition Justice bloc is unhappy with the latest package of
constitutional amendments drafted in view of the recommendations of
the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, a member of the bloc's
parliament faction, Grigor Arutyunyan, has told Mediamax.
During its meeting in Yerevan today the bloc expressed disappointment
with the fact the experts of the Venice Commission had not taken into
account the constitutional changes proposed by the Armenian
opposition, the MP said.
Arutyunyan said that it is still to be finally decided whether the
bloc will attend the extraordinary parliament session on 29 August to
debate the draft constitutional amendments for the second and final
reading.
