YEREVAN, JULY 13. ARMINFO. "As all the new in life, "Golden Apricot"
festival also should rest upon both the great history of its country
and people's traditions", stated world-famous film director, actor,
president of Russian Film Union and honorary guest of the festival
Nikita Mikhalkov at today's press-conference.
He noted that during his short stay in Yerevan he had had time to feel
the spirit of Armenian temperament. Mikhalkov noted that at present
"Golden Apricot" forms its own traditions based on the long-year
experience of cinematographers of previous generations and people's
traditions.
