/PanARMENIAN.Net/ International Crisis Group (ICG), a European
non-governmental organization, recently hosted a closed forum in the
Georgian capital of Tbilisi to bring together Azerbaijani and Armenian
experts to discuss issues of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh
conflict. Member of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (parliament) Gultakin
Hajiyeva, who attended the forum, stated, "Having got acquainted with
the document draft, it is clear to me it more fits the interests
of Armenians. That is why the Azerbaijani delegation voiced its
discontent," she said. "The document did not reflect the fact of the
occupation and tended to legalize the existing Karabakh regime. Also,
the document contained the dangerous proposal to conduct a referendum,
so the document should be seriously considered and reviewed," the
Azeri MP said, the Yerkir newspaper.
