Greek patriarch denounces 'Turkish tsunami'

YEREVAN (YERKIR) - Greek Church Patriarch Christodoulos made a report
for the Greek parliamentarians and politicians on his views over
Greek-Turkish relations, Armenpress reported.
"The Turkish tsunami destroys everything," he said in the report titled
"Turkey Stands at EU Door: Turkey is with Islamic Face, Europe with
Mask." The Greek patriarch denounced Greek government for its policies
towards Turkey and the EU leadership for "unconsciously stripping
Europe of its Christian roots."
The report also noted that the "friendship period" that began with
Turkey on December 17,2004 would hit a big blow to Hellenism and
humiliate it.
