Turkish deputies to pay visit to Armenia

ERZURUM
A group of Turkish parliamentarians will leave for Armenia on Friday
[10 June] to attend a conference at the Yerevan State University,
Turan Comez, a deputy of the ruling Justice and Development Party
(AKP), said on Wednesday [8 June].
Comez told reporters that the visit was unofficial.
"We will attend a conference at the Yerevan State University on
Friday, giving the message that Turkey wants to set up friendly
relations with its neighbours. We will also hold talks with several
Armenian lawmakers, and representatives of non-governmental
organizations," he said.
Comez added that they would return to Turkey on Sunday.
