Turkish national arrested at Armenia's Yerevan airport

The National Security Service of Armenia detained a Turkish
researcher at the Yerevan airport on 17 June.
The security service said that the man, who is a Turkish national,
was suspected of smuggling antique books out of the country. An
anonymous official said that the researcher had been arrested, having
in his possession books from the 17th to 20th centuries, and was
suspected of trying to secretly take them aboard a flight to Turkey.
According to The Associated Press the man is likely to be fined,
although the maximum sentence is five years in jail. In Armenia it is
reportedly not permitted to take books older than 50 years from the
country without special permission.
