Armenia to promote encouragement of Russian investments

YEREVAN, March 25 -- Armenian President Robert Kocharyan noted that
Armenia is ready to provide conditions for the encouragement of Russian
investments in the country. He made a statement after talks with his
Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Friday.
"We discussed concrete issues of energy cooperation. Russia is
represented very seriously in this sector," Kocharyan emphasized. He
also noted that investment business has intensified. "The Armenian
side welcomes it, and we intend to provide conditions for the work
in this sphere," he pointed out.
Kocharyan also emphasized that at the talks with Putin they
discussed a wide range of issues of cooperation in policy, economy
and military-technical cooperation.
