AMERICAN COMPANY METAL PRINCE ATTRACTED $1.5 MLN
INVESTMENTS IN AKHTALA MINING AND PROCESSING PLANT IN 2002-2003
YEREVAN, MAY 2. ARMINFO. The American company Metal Prince attracted
$1.5 mln investments in Akhtala mining and processing plant belonging
to it in 2002-2003. Head of the Department for Economy, Management
of Nature and Ore-Mining Industry, Armenian Ministry for Trade and
Economic Development, Artur Ashughyan told ARMINFO's correspondent.
He said that due to those investments, the plant operated stable and
had no problems. N the first quarter of 2005 the plant produced and
sold products worth over 160 mln AMD ($350,000) which is 2.7% more
than in the same period of 2003. The plant's production is purchased
by the Armenian metallurgical plant ACP. In 2004 Akhtala mining and
processing plant produced and sold 773.5 mln AMD production ($1.6 mln)
which exceeded the last year's indicator 9.6%.
