In Samtskhe-Javakhq special committees had been created to
calculate the harms the people suffered because of the floods of
April-May. According to the committees, Akhaltskha has suffered loss
of 950 380 laris because of the natural calamity, Adigen - 798 600
laris, Borjom - 158 530, and Aspindza - 98 500. The total loss of the
region is 2 004 010 laris which is more than 1 million dollars. The
information is provided by the agency "A-Info".
Georgi Khachidze, special representative of the Georgian President
in Samtskhe-Javakhq, has passed this data to the Georgian Emergency
Department asking for help.
