ARMENIAN YOUTH TO RETURN TO HOMELAND
September 21 17-year-old David Harutyunyan will arrive in Armenia from
Yekatirenburg.
Native of Karabakh, the boy left the homeland together with his father. For
13 years they have lived in the Russian town of Nizhni Tagil. Thanks to the
efforts by Armenian Human Rigts Defender Larisa Alaverdyan and head of the
department of human rights of the Sverdlovks oblast Tatyana Merzlyakova the
boy was found and he will soon return to Armenia, where his mother lives.
