ARMENIAN PRESIDENT MEETS WITH VIOLINIST SERGEY KHACHATRYAN
YEREVAN, September 22. /ARKA/. Armenian President Robert Kocharyan
has held a meeting with the young violinist Sergey Khachatryan, who
won the first prize at the Queen Elizabeth contest in Brussels.
During the meeting, the President congratulated the musician on his
victory and said that his success is the pride of all Armenians.
Robert Kocharyan wished Sergey Khachatryan new achievements and
yearly performances in Armenia.
The victory in the contest allows Sergey Khachatryan to play Antonio
Stradivari's violin "Hagins". On September 24, at the Aram
Khachatryan concert hall, Sergey Khachatryan is to give a concert
together with the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia.
The winner of numerous musical contests Sergey Khachatryan resides in
