RA NA SPEAKER GETS INVITATION TO PAY OFFICIAL VISIT TO CHINA IN AUTUMN
YEREVAN, APRIL 7, NOYAN TAPAN. Tszo Syuelian, the Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to
Armenia, passed at the April 7 meeting with RA National Assembly
Speaker Artur Baghdasarian, the invitation of the Chairman of the PRC
Chinese Assembly of People's Representatives, to pay an official visit
to China in autumn. The goal of the meeting is to strengthen
interparliamentary relations with Armenia and establish inter-party
ties. As Noyan Tapan was informed by the NA Public Relations
Department, issues relating to the program of the visit as well as the
issue of re-functioning of the Armenian-Chinese joint venture based on
"Nairit," what is envisaged to finish late this year, were discussed
at the meeting.
