ARMENIAN ARMY IN DISARRAY

"As the military mood escalates in Azerbaijan, unauthorized leaves
and evasion of military service is observed in the Armenian army,"
Military Prosecutor Khanlar Valiyev has said. This conclusion was
made based on the available intelligence information, he said.
Valiyev said that in terms of discipline, the two countries' armies
could not be compared. Numerous instances of unauthorized leaves,
disobedience, manslaughter and suicides have been observed in the
Armenian military. "The situation in the Azerbaijani military is
incomparably better," the Prosecutor said.
