AGBU DAY CAMP SERVES HUNDREDS OF ARMENIAN CHILDREN IN BUENOS AIRES

Buenos Aires, Argentina - In keeping with its tradition of engaging
Armenian youth in cultural and social activities, AGBU Buenos Aires
held its annual day camp for children, ages 3-12, during its recent
    summer months.

Beginning mid December '05 and running through the end of February
'06, the AGBU Colonia de Vacaciones offered a myriad of recreational
activities to hundreds of children. The program attracted 95 campers
in December, 153 in January and 112 in February. Daily activities
included music lessons, playing sports and swimming in the pool at the
local AGBU Alex Manoogian Center, as well as camping trips each month.

Established in 1911, AGBU Buenos Aires is committed to preserving and
promoting the Armenian heritage and culture through educational,
cultural and humanitarian programs. For more information, please visit
