NKR PRESIDENT MET WITH DIASPORAN YOUNG PEOPLE

On August 5, NKR President Arkady Ghukassian met with the delegation
of the Diasporan Armenian young people visiting Artsakh in the
framework of the project of Birthright Armenia Fund. During the talk,
the president told the young people from the United States, Canada,
France and Great Britain about the way that NKR has passed, the
declaration of independence, the war, state building and the post-war
challenges. Emphasizing the importance of engagement of Armenians world
wide in overcoming the everyday problems of NKR, Arkady Ghukassian
mentioned that the state of Artsakh must follow the path of social
and economic development and always be ready to counteract to every
armed encroachment on its independence and security of the people.
