RUSSIAN BOOK CLUB TO OPEN IN YEREVAN

Children's Book Club and Russian Publicists Association organized
an exhibition of children's books at Khnko Aper library today. Oleg
Filimonov, the association head, told reporters that 500 books from
5 Russian cities and town are exhibited. Filimonov said these books
will be donated to the library upon the end of the exhibition. Ruzanna
Tonoyan, head of Khnko Aper Library, said they are going to pay an
answer-visit to Moscow by the end of the running year.
The library will exhibit its Armenian books published in the course
of 10 years.
Hasmik Poghosyan, minister of culture and youth affairs, also present
at the ceremony, assured that the event will step up the interest
to Russian language books among the Armenian community. The minister
said a Russian Book Club will open in Yerevan soon.
