CHAIRMAN OF ARMENIAN ORGANIZATIONS OF EUROPE REPRESENTATION MEETS WITH MINISTER OF CULTURE OF SLOVAKIA

Grigorian, the Chairman of the Armenian Organizations of Europe
(AOE) Representation met on August 23 with Marek Madaric, the newly
appointed Minister of Culture of Slovakia. The Minister appreciated
the initiative of holding the "Days of Armenian Culture" organized
by the AOE Representation Chairman and accepted the Armenian party's
proposal to sponsor the events. The Minister received with satisfaction
A.Grigorian's proposal as well in the direction of forming a joint
working program with the RA Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs and
preparing an agreement on long-lasting cooperation. As the Noyan Tapan
correspondent informs from Slovakia, A.Grigorian also got recently
the letter of Dushan Chaplovich, the Deputy Prime Minister for
European Union Integration and National Minorities of the Government
of Slovakia. In the letter the Deputy Prime Minister expressed great
satisfaction with effective works being done by A.Grigorian in the
direction of development of the Slovakian-Armenian ties, inviting
the latter to have a meeting for discussing issues of cooperation.
