The world-famous System Of A Down band has teamed up with Carla
Garapedian, an accomplished Director/Producer, the BBC, and the
Raffy Manoukian Charity to make the "Screamers." The "Screamers"
is a very powerful documentary film on several genocides, from the
Armenian Genocide to the Jewish Holocaust, the Cambodian, Rwandan
and Darfur Genocides.
The "Screamers" is a superb documentary film that takes the viewer
through brilliantly interwoven events and compelling comments by Serj
Tankian, John Dolmayan of S.O.A.D., and by many other personalities.
Ever since its forming a few years ago, the System Of A Down has helped
the world audiences to understand the Armenian and other genocides
better. Now the "Screamers" can help the world understand the psyche
of the members of SOAD and victims of all genocides.
In its own artistic way, the "Screamers" unites both the victims of
all genocides and the empathetic activists of the world. In order to
not let the perpetrators get away with their crime, both the victims
and the activists have become the "Screamers."
The "Screamers" film will be shown in various Southern California
movie theaters starting from this Friday, December 8, 2006.
