The Republic of Armenia is still without a national anthem. The
coalition parties, the Republicans and the ARF Dashnaktsutyun, have
not come to an agreement in this connection. The ARF does not put
up with the idea of making "Our Homeland" a transitional anthem,
according to the Government offer.
Member of the ARF Gegham Manoukyan thinks that "Our Homeland" is the
best and reminds that two days ago when it was performed in Armavir
as a state anthem, everyone stood up.
The ARF was also against sending Armenian peace-keepers to Iraq next
year, but according to Manoukyan, this does not mean that the coalition
has dissolved. According to him, there can always be disagreements
when it comes to important issues.
