GERMAN EXPERTS TO HELP IN WORKING OUT ARMENIAN MILITARY DOCTRINE

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Today Serzh Sargsyan, the Secretary, National
Security Council under the President of the Republic of Armenia
met with German Ambassador in Armenia Heike Renate Peitsch, Colonel
Seyran Shahsuvaryan, the MD Press Officer told PanARMENIAN.Net. During
the meeting the two sides discussed defense actions, planned in the
framework of bilateral cooperation in 2007, underlining the importance
of training and retraining of Armenian officers in German military
institutions. It is worth mentioning that in 2006 Armenia and Germany
cooperated not only in the sphere of defense, but also security.
Serzh Sargsyan expressed his gratitude to the German side for the
participation in working out Armenia's National Security Strategy. In
the context of working out the military doctrine of Armenia the sides
underlined the importance of future cooperation between the Defense
Ministries of both countries.
