RA MINISTER OF FINANCE AND ECONOMY AND AMBASSADOR OF FRANCE IN ARMENIA CONFIRM WILLINGNESS TO DEEPEN ECONOMIC COOPERATION

YEREVAN, December 21. /ARKA/. Minister of Finance and Economy of
Armenia Vardan Khachatryan received Ambassador of France to Armenia
Serge Smessov in Yerevan on Wednesday, Information Department of the
Ministry reports.
During the meeting Khachatryan described the present state of
Armenia's economy, expected changes, perspective programs and other
economic issues.
He touched upon one of the priorities of the economic policy of the
RA government - Poverty reduction Strategic Plan, emphasizing that
it was a guide for donor-organizations and international structures.
Khachatryan and Smessov confirmed mutual willingness to deepen
Armenian-French economic cooperation, implementation of joint programs,
especially in the context of bilateral friendly relationship.
During the meeting they also discussed other issues, representing
mutual interest.
