CASES OF ACUTE RESPIRATORY DISEASES GROW BY 1,314 IN ARMENIA IN OCTOBER 2006 ON SAME MONTH OF LAST YEAR

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 21, NOYAN TAPAN. 17 cases of infectious diseases
were registered in Armenia in October 2006. According to the RA
Ministry of Health, 95 cases of lung tuberculosis, 4 cases of HIV,
one case of measles were registered in October, which represents
a decline by 14, 4 and 2 cases on the same month of last year. 88
cases of hepatitis, 544 cases of acute intestinal diseases and 6,793
cases of acute respiratory diseases were registered in October, which
represents a growth by 46, 62 and 1,314 cases on October of last year.
