TEN ARMENIANS TO HAVE AN ELECTION TRAINING COURSE IN THE USA

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS: Ten Armenians will spend three
weeks in the USA in January, 2007 for an extensive training course
to learn the best ways to make young people take greater interest
and participation in election processes.
The training course is part of a USAID-funded program designed to
encourage young men and women to actively participate in election
processes.
The ten Armenians, who are from NGOs which deal with youth and
students organizations were selected from a pool of applicants in a
transparent competition, Nune Amirian, a coordinator of the program
said to Armenpress.
The Armenians will be hosted by American families.
