DEFENSE MINISTRY OF AZERBAIJAN CONDEMNED THE PROCESS OF ARMENIA'S ARMING BY RUSSIA

The Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan condemned the process of Armenia's
arming by Russia. APA agency reports that in 2007 Moscow plans to
supply air defense missile systems S-300 for the 102nd Russian
military base and for the air defense forces of Armenia. Ilgar
Verdiev from the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan
states that "Armenia places this armament on the occupied Azerbaijani
territories." According to Verdiev, on February 17 deputy commander
of the Russian air force and air defense forces will visit Armenia.
The aforementioned systems will be handed over during the visit.
