    BRUSSELS RESOLUTION WILL BE ADOPTED IN OSCE SUMMER SESSION

    Today, Azerbaijan
    July 5 2006

    Within summer session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly held in Brussels
    political issues and security, Democracy, human rights and humanitarian
    issues, economy and science and protection of environment - three
    committees meeting has been held.

    Azerbaijani Delegation member participating in the session Rabiyyat
    Aslanova told that, resolution related to the strengthening of human
    security problem has been discussed in the three of the Committee.

    According to APA, in the standing meeting of the organization on
    political and security issues Azerbaijani delegation head Bahar
    Muradova and Azay Guliyev have participated.

    "We had 16 proposals to Resolution to be adopted in political and
    security issues standing committee, 6 of them were adopted.

    Regulation of conflicts, OSCE activity, sovereignty, and other issues
    include these proposals."

    Azerbaijani delegation member Rabiyyat Aslanova stated during the
    session: "Making a speech with regard to national minorities, I spoke
    about Azerbaijanis displaced from Armenia and asked OSCE to express
    attitude to this matter."

    Rabiyyat Aslanova stated that as a result of the session Brussels
    Resolution will be adopted.

    Nino Burjanadze represents Georgia in the session. Georgia press
    state the name of Nino Burjanadze to the post of President of OSCE
    Parliamentary Assembly among the 9 candidates.
