BEWARE OF HOOLIGAN DRIVERS
Yerevan, July 14. ArmInfo. ArmInfo correspondent became the witness
of beating a minibus passenger. The incident took place on July
12, about 7:00 PM. The driver of the minibus suspected one of the
passengers K. M. (female, born 1960) of regularly traveling by
the bus without paying the fee. The driver, a young and huge man,
demanded K. M. not to enter his minibus any more and threatened that
he will put out her eyes otherwise. The woman slapped the driver
in the face and was about to leave, when the driver leaped forward,
grabbed her and started beating. After that the driver left the spot.
K. M. tried to get to the nearest police station, but the driver's
colleagues convinced her not to do that.

Anahit Yesayan said that the represented evidence is not enough to
prove the driver's guilt. The disputer's office refused to provide
any more information than it was told in the article. The transport
department promised to tell about measures against drivers violating
the rules only in a few days.
